Contrary to popular belief, we DO get cold in Florida. (60° counts!) And when we do, this hearty turkey chili is a favorite bulk dish to whip up because it’s healthy, delicious and ridiculously simple!
2 lbs Ground turkey
1 can Tomato sauce
2 cans Dark red kidney beans
1 packet Chili powder
Seasoning to taste
• Brown ground turkey in skillet.
• In main cooking pan, combine can of tomato sauce, both cans of beans, chili powder and preferred seasonings (we like McCormick mild chili seasoning with Himalayan pink and garlic salt) and let warm.
• Add meat when fully cooked and mix well.
• Serve topped with a pinch of cheese and oyster crackers (optional)!
